National and State Libraries Australiasia is an organisation comprising the 10 main libraries in Australia and New Zealand.
The goal of the project was to unify all the organisation's communication methods into a single portal. Prior to the Drupal 7 website launch, they used a combination of the following technologies:
- A legacy static HTML brochure website
- Google Docs for intranet document management
- Google Calendar for event management
The new system allows much smoother collaboration, permissions management and ease in finding information.
The site makes heavy use of Organic Groups, Panels and Date modules. The CSS is generated using Sass, an awesome CSS meta-language.
